Il trullo si trova su un pendio terrazzato in una posizione privilegiata sui colli di Ostuni, ove il panorama è aperto sul mare.

lo stato di rudere in cui versava il trullo ha reso necessari importanti interventi di restauro conservativo, così è stato riportato alla luce tutto il suo pregio storico-architettonico permettendone un riutilizzo in chiave contemporanea.

Il progetto, finalizzato alla residenza estiva dei proprietari, ha avuto come cardine il rispetto dell'esistente e l'idea di "vita nella natura". Da qui lo studio e la ricerca per riportare alla luce elementi, esistenti ma ormai quasi perduti, come la bocca della cisterna, il portone antico, le chianche, la roccia sottostante, il camino. Contemporaneamente sono stati inseriti dettagli preziosi come il pavimento in resina verde con inserti di mosaico, un pavimento in vetro, che dà la possibilità di ammirare la roccia ritrovata, e accostato delicatamente la cucina nelle antiche nicchie. Ovunque è stato possibile si sono poi aperti scorci sulla natura, come a voler legare l'antico trullo al suo terreno.

The "trullo" is located on a terraced slope in a privileged position on the hills of Ostuni, where the view is open to the sea.

The state of ruin of the trullo made necessary important conservative restoration works, so it was brought to light all its historical-architectural value, allowing it to be reused in a contemporary key.

The project, aimed at the owners' summer residence, had as its cardinal point the respect for the existing and the idea of "life in nature". Hence, the study and research to bring to light the elements, already existing but now almost lost, such as the access to the water cistern, the ancient door, the "chianche" stones, the underlying rock, the fireplace. At the same time precious details have been added such as the green resin floor with mosaic inserts, a glass floor, which gives the possibility to admire the rediscovered rock, and delicately inserted the kitchen in the ancient niches. Wherever it was possible, glimpses on the nature were opened, as if to tie the ancient trullo to its land.
